Am I “Normal”?

How to determine whether you have

“Normal” or “Abnormal” spinal health

and nervous system function

When looking at a person from the front, the spine should be straight. The head, shoulders, hips and feet should all be lined up. When looking at a person from the side, the ears should be over the shoulders, and the shoulders should be over the pelvis. Any changes from “normal” will interfere with, and can eventually damage the central nervous system. Interference and damage to the central nervous system will always result in “abnormal” function of the body, improper healing, and poor health. One of the safest and most reliable ways of assessing posture is through postural assessment software. This program will measure all alignments of the spine and body, and even indicate the forces and weight passing through each joint. This gives a very clear picture of the long term risks to the spine and joint health.

We do more than just look:

Postural Analysis

We take postural photos during the initial examination. We then run these photos through very precise measurement software. This will show us how balanced the head, shoulders, and hips are. If out of balance, it will show us to what degree, and what forces are being experienced because of this imbalance. It can then use these measurements to demonstrate the shape your spine must be in for these forces to be present. X-rays are then only necessary if there is a concern for serious pathology or fracture. The program can further demonstrate the changes that will gradually occur to the spine if these imbalances are left untreated.
